So, I’ve gone home. I have been kind of homeless in the digi world since the sad down fall of DayDreamer Design works.

I’m participating in the challenges over at Peppermint Creative, and this is the Pimp My Page (temple challenge) for July.

Sudden inspiraton

After many moons of not actually scrapping, I found the desire to do it today. And my son actually let me. AND I was happy with how it turned out. Weirdness. So, here it is. What do you think? For my first LO back, I think it turned out nicely.

Project February, Part 4

This is our final installment of Project February. I ended up missing a couple days, but that’s not too bad. I don’t know HOW anyone can keep up with project 365. I just couldn’t commit to take a picture everyday like that. Eventually taking pictures of just Spencer would get old. PLUS, there are no (okay, only a FEW) pictures of me since I’m the one taking all the pictures! ANYWAY, here’s the best part of the post, the pictures!

He’s getting too smart and too climby…

Game night with some friends. I can’t believe we actually played Sing Star! Adam and I never thought we’d do that in front of people! And for some reason, I ended up with all the rap songs… ???

Further evidence that Spencer is too climby. He crawled up on a chair, but slipped in the process and bloodied his gums. Two days later (March2), he did it again, but in the kitchen on tile and split the inside of his lip. It was so swollen. I’ll post pictures of it later.

ValerieN Design’s released a new Mini Kit over at Gotta Pixel today called Whateve!. It will be a dollar for today only. Here’s my layout for it. I used one of my project February pictures for it, because it was so cute.

Project Feb, Part 3

He loves being outside, even on a cold blustery day like that day was.

Preparation for Percy Jackson’s premier.

Book Club! We went to see the movie together and had a great time.

One of many self portraits we’ve taken over the years. This one is comemorate Valentine’s Day 2010, and the first time we left Spencer with a teenage babysitter. I thought about taking a picture of her when we got home, but she would have been mortified. (She was TOTALLY passed out on the couch when we got home).

Is that not just the PERFECT little pose!!?

I’m going to try to be better about getting my LOs up when I finish them.

Project February, part 2

Here is the next installment of Project February:

This is Adam’s car after we had to suddenly use the bigger car to help a couple at church move.

He just learned how to get on the chair in the office. Watch out world, Spencer is a climbin’!

Spencer went to someone else’s birthday party for the first time. It was a pirate party, and he had a grrrrrreat time.

There is mischief in those eyes. Anyone else see it!?

A boy and his dog. Lucy tolerates Spenc pretty well. He climbed up there and sat on her.

So, I had seminary students coming and the regional advisor coming, and he was supposed to be bringing pizza. I had to have my kitchen totally picked up, but didn’t have time to do the dishes. So, they ended up in the microwave. My usually spot is in the oven, but it was too hot from dinner.

Project Feb Days 1-3

We had to replace a slider on the drawer, because Spencer managed to break it off. As a result, Adam organized the tupperware drawer (again).

We finally got Spencer’s Little People Farm out. He like the farm, but he LOVED the box.

I had book club tonight. We discussed The Eyre Affair, and had a generally good time. I’m so glad I finally have people to read and discuss books with (besides Adam who is an awesome book buddy). Girl time is nice to have though.

Project February

I am under taking an experiment. Lots of people do project 365 (taking a picture everyday), and I have never been sure I could keep up something like that. So, I am going to try it for a month (notice I picked the shortest month there is to pick). I’ll be posting my pictures here and then doing a layout at the end of the month for all the pictures. So, now you know. Project February is starting today!

Okay, I’m long over due on showing my LOs to you. So, I’m going to put them all in this post for you to see. Leave me a comment, what do you think? What’s your favorite? I’ll let you know my favs as I go. All these LOs were done with kits at DayDreamer DesignWorks. If you go to my gallery (jlady11 is my username, just search for it) there it will give you the links to the kit I used for each page.

I love this one because Spencer is so cute and small. He still loves being read too.

(This is one of the few half decent pictures of me our last cruise.)

I’ve been waiting for the right kit to scrap these. I just love this pictures. The journaling on this one explains it all!

I made this tag to go with our Christmas gifts to friends this year.

I LOVE the word art on this one. I was quite proud of it. I just read a book about designing text and I was able to apply it’s principles here. It turned out nicely.
